Roger, I have been using a Garmin for a while now, but have always appreciated the durability of Timex.
With that I have a couple of questions.
The Garmin allows me to set up my workout, i.e. a combination of different intervals based on time or distance and different paces via my computer and then download that workout into the watch. Does this Timex unit provide that capability?
I dump my data into WKO+ so I can track TSS etc. Can I assume that WKO+ will allow me to do this with the Timex watch?
Thanks.
Al,
Great questions. And the answer to both is yes. You can do everything from your computer too which makes it super quick and easy. All the data goes straight into Trainingpeaks and looks the same. I have used it quite a bit and have not had any problems...except when I screw something up :)
I don't know what your experience is with Garmin, they obviously make a great product, but I will say that TIMEX really stands behind what they make and sell which is pretty exciting in the watch/GPS world.
Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.
Roger
