I think this only pertains to people like Greggor who would actually eat a dozen doughnuts in one sitting. As for the rest of us, who like to enjoy a doughnut every now and then, who crrrrs? ;)

Dude, Time to wake up and stop glorifying corporate America polluting your body with toxic waste. You could be a good triathlete if you would just eat well. I am not going to tell you who I am just yet. I will say this much. I was doing tris when you were still a junior swearing you would never do one...cause you could not run. I will give you a hint, your wife and my little brother were in the same class at Sac and LC. More hints to follow, but, I will tell you this much. Trips to STarschmucks, KrispyKrap, and your other favorite restaurants are only going to give you cancer like Lancer. Hope you are well, and I can tell you one thing. Though you might win lots of races in the NW, you are still slow. Triathlon speeds reached their peak ten years ago, people are getting slower with their increased consumption of shitty food. Love to all, The Kid

Paulmain-not,

Hmmm...based on what information you gave me, and your personality and articulation in your writing, I have a pretty good idea who you are.

I am happy that you read my blog and it makes you want to respond. I agree with you about sugars...pretty bad stuff.

In regards to your statement about "triathlon speed," I think you have been out of the sport a little too long. Have you seen what they swim and run in the ITU Oly races? I think you will see the IM speeds increasing now as the short course guys move up and start pushing some limits. Joe Friel has a great blog post about how we are getting slower because so many people want to do all this "ultra" stuff, and are content with finishing and IM rather than racing and Oly race, or sprint distance. You should check it out.

Maybe you could open a restaurant downtown sometime. Some bistro that serves micros...live music from time to time?

Thanks for the comment. I think you will like my next post :)

Roger

btw- I was racing triathlon in 1997 and 1998 (12 years ago) all over the nation. I was 3rd at National Sprint Championships. I think I was pretty fast then... but I am way faster now.

Ooh Roger, you should unmask this character, so we can all dump on his/her head.
